The #8th ranked West Virginia Mountaineers take on the #11th ranked Texas Longhorns this Saturday night in Austin, TX. Mark joined the SMACKcast to talk Super G, Geno Smith, Mountaineers and Longhorns, and a little couch burning to boot. The West Virginia offense has had no problems moving the football up and down the field thus far. Mountaineer head coach Dana Holgorsen was able to get a good look at how Texas will try to stop him last week when the Longhorns played his former team Oklahoma St in Stillwater, OK. The Texas defense should present a bigger challenge to quarterback Geno Smith, wide receivers Stedman Bailey, and Tavon Austin; than what Baylor was able to muster last week in a 70-63 shootout where WVU came out on top. We’ll have to wait and see what Holgorsen has in store for the Longhorns.
