Bucco Bruce Is Back And Throw Back To 2009 Throw Back

Throw back to 2009 throw back.  It’s the “Highs and Lows from the Facenda Files”.  Listen Here

Buccaneer throw back week baby.  Hell yeah, Bucco Bruce is back. The Buccaneers will make their 2012 local television debut against the New Orleans Saints this Sunday at Raymond James Stadium, kickoff 1:00 pm.  The Buc’s are a solid 16 for their last 18 on blackout opportunities.

Bucco Bruce got me thinking back to the 2009 throw back game when Tampa Bay was 0-7 coming out of the bye week and facing the Green Bay Packers.  Lee Roy Selmon was to be the first inductee into the Buccaneer Ring of Honor and Buc fans responded with the first home sell out for Tampa Bay in 09.  It was Raheem Morris’s first season; Byron Leftwich started the first two games at QB and Josh Johnson the following five.  Both were complete failures.  Josh Freeman, a rookie at the time, prepared to make his first NFL start against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay packers.  At the time people were questioning the drafting of Freeman and now he was the last QB this horrible Buc team had to offer.  Enjoy the audio recap. GO BUCS!
